Title: Bad wolf problem
Post by: Steff on Jul 07, 2025, 01:45 PM
I took a bottle of bad wolf with me and put it in my purse, I went abroad for 2 days, the air conditioner was mostly working in the car, but at one point it was so hot outside that the air conditioner couldn't cool it down, then the next day I applied bad wolf again and I smelled a different smell, like the smell of some flowers or grass. When I got home I put the bottle in the fridge and I applied a few drops again and smelled the flowers again but after 20 minutes I smelled that original bad wolf smell. Does my bad wolf work or can I throw it away. I hope you can understand me using google translate

I ordered a new bottle, but I'm very sorry that this happened, especially since the bottle was almost full. I learned my lesson not to take the bottle with me anywhere when it's hot like this. I still hope it will work, I ask more experienced members of this forum to give their opinion

It should be fine, pheromone mixes are made using high heat. Did your bottle come scented or unscented? Maybe the heat messed with the "scent" chemicals, but I'd think the pheromone mix itself would be ok.

Its probably ok as long as you like the new smell. I think LAL's scent packages are naturals for the most part, they are less stable than synthetics. I have an old Voodoo that changed, it still seems to work about the same for the most part. It may have lost a bit of the social aspect to it, a bit less bright and bubbly if I'm trying to be honest but usually I go straight into denial and just add a spray of something else to brighten it up. Voodoo and Bad wolf are quite different but I think the scent package has similarities. My VooDoo smells a bit like old crushed flowers instead of fresh ones.

it's the scented version. So you're saying that even though the scent has changed, the pheromones haven't been destroyed

yes, That's what he's saying the actual molecules themselves are quite stable.

I've purchased both standard bottles with pipettes and sprayer bottles so I can keep a travel kit separate from my main stash. This way, if it gets left in the car or other high heat area, I don't ruin an entire supply.

If it still smells fine, it should be fine.

I agree making a small travel kit to carry with you helps to save your original bottle.
