That's major "stuck in head" behavior!
It's more that this was how recording was done by us back in the older research forums.
When journaling and posting experiences with mones you'd record a bunch of things in your report.
Weather, temperature, humidity, clothing, ethnicities of yourself and your affected, ages, location, environment, etc.
It was a report.
So in reporting our results everyone would state an affected as "blonde HB8 21yo" or "brunette hb4.5 26yo" and such.
The rating itself is subjective to the user's perspective and not particularly scientific. But over time, when multiple users reported similar effects, you did get useful crossover information.
Like certain -none heavy products at high doses were panty droppers, but for lower status women and scared away the higher status. A lot of the information that is 'common sense' right now for us phero users comes from those observations that were made in the past.
In other words, just look at it as a language dialect and generational divide rather than psychological flaw
