Here is my Mascot review that I posted on the discord channel.
I'm interested in socials because I'm an introvert with some SA, plus I haven't had much luck with the sexuals.
There was a thread on DiscoverXS saying how good of a social Mascot is. I could find nothing posted about it on the PT archive.
I tried it out last night. Met a friend for dinner and then to a music concert. Might not be the best testing environment, but it is what I had.
Dose: 2 normal sprays from the 10ml bottle, covered with Acqua Di Parma Colonia Leather. This product has a strong stank to it, but this cologne covered it pretty well without being too "loud" if you know what I mean.
So to cut to the chase without a long winded description of the night:
Pros:
- on the selfie side, I felt upbeat and was smiling quite a bit. I'm usually pretty dour and never smile
Cons:
- I felt weirdly inhibited on it. I'm not super close with the friend I met up with, but I felt more reserved with him that what is normal
- I also felt somewhat beta on it
- I didn't notice any impact on people around me, good or bad.
Neutral:
- During the concert I felt a bit emotional, I'm not usually like this
- At the end of the concert, maybe t+5 hours after application, I started feeling aggressive. People were pushing their way out and it pissed me off. Normally this wouldn't bother me too much.
So after this one test, I feel like Mascot did not work for me, due to the self-inhibition and lack of any effect on others. I may try it with Xist another time to see if it that works better.
It could be an Overdose. But if you're very introverted with social anxiety, a concert might not be the best place for initial mone testing.
