    Summer is coming.

I broke my right leg.  Still recovering.

    Couldn't exercise.

    I'm now 191 lbs and 5'8".

I need to add 10 lbs of muscle , harden up, and lose 20 lbs of fat.

Anyone know how without attending gyms or doing sports?

I was thinking of some yoga exercises but they don't burn too much calories.

Also I was wondering about supplements.

A really good one for T was Black Ox by Enhanced Labs.  But they don't ship to Canada.

I recently started ZMA and noticed I put on 5 lbs on the scale without change to diet in the last week.

When I see those beautiful female models walking down the runway in Miami they have huge asses and flat stomachs and big tits but they don't look like women who lift weights or do traditional gym exercises.

I wonder how a man gets a body to attract modelesque women who are curvy who are not hard muscled like bodybuilders?

Cardio is also out for me right now as I can't walk without crutches outside.

I was thinking yoga and diet could do wonders.  And supplements.  Any suggestions?

Want to get in shape in 60 days without damaging my leg.

An EMS for your abs and belly may help. I use one and it has got me comments such as "Are you losing weight?" "You look like you've lost some weight, I can tell by your flatter tummy." etc

My current girlfriend used to market them. I've currently lent mine to her, she already has a flat tummy, she just told me she wants a lazy 4 pack.

For me, the ketogenic diet brought quick results. You are allowed to eat a maximum of 30 grams of carbohydrates a day. You will notice from the second or third day that your body actively burns fat to provide energy for the brain as your glycogen stores are empty. You can buy urine sticks at the pharmacy or in online stores to check whether your body is going into ketosis.
You will lose weight very quickly.

This might seems like a noob comment but i had a huge success with Testosterone boosting back then using ''Alpha T Premium'' By Nutrex along with workouts. However,I stopped working out for quite a while due to lack of motivation and cant handle physical work+Badminton+Gym at the time.Downsides recently,I took ''Nutrex T-ups'' while the ingredients inside are super clean,It gives me too much energy for the time i dont work out. That week,Pheromone stopped working the way they should and it only comes to realisation later that...It is due to lack of work out or exercise to use up the excess energy these supplements gives out which works with exercise/gym.I had hormone inbalance that week :')

Not a suggestion but just sharing anecdotes.Great post as i am currently looking into Fat loss supplement as well as workouts ,visiting a Dietician tomorrow -Government funded.Gonna be good

-Not necessarily related to Weight loss but Testosterone-

Agreed,  depends on your level of insulin resistance. If you're already okay at losing body fat,  your results will be immediate. I have lived a keto lifestyle for the last 14 or so years , can't recommend it enough. The only problem is starch and carbs can be so damn delicious hahaha 😆

If you're someone who has poor metabolism, there is a two to four week adaptation you may need to go through for your gene expression to change sufficiently and your mitochondria to start utilising ketones,  but once that happens, health improves immensely and body fat starts to disappear fast.

Also combining keto / low carb with intermittent fasting is a really great approach.

    Hi

    Checking in again.

6 months since I broke my right leg.

Back in the gym doing machines only.  I only have energy and time for one set , each muscle group, whole body, 3xweek weight workout.

I finish of with 20 min low intensity aerobics.

Can I possibly transform my physique with just one set?

I'm just north of 50 yo.  Not as easy to build muscle or recover compared to my 20's.

Split routines and 3-4 sets per muscle group not feasible.

    Comments?

Of all the different routines I've tried over the years the most effective has been something called "doggcrapp training" (I know, odd name choice.) It's not too dissimilar from what you're talking about. It's a type of high intensity training, one exercise per muscle group, but instead of one set it's three "rest pause" sets.
So you lift to failure, take ten deep breaths, go to failure again, ten more breaths and a final set to failure. Your last set will typically only be 2 or 3 reps and the whole thing takes only a minute or so, so it's a little like one big set. There's also a big emphasis on logging every lift and beating your previous weights or reps for each workout. Look into it! I've experimented with doing what you're doing, only one set before, at extremely high intensity, and the results haven't been anywhere near as good.

Btw, training the same muscle three times a week might be too much, depending on the individual. You could try doing an alternating two way split while still lifting three times a week. Same amount of effort, but more time to recover, and hopefully more intensity per workout.

I'm doing HIT program of Mike Mentzer (1 sret for each muscle group till failure)
You could search about it in google and youtube and learn his philosophy.
I'm 46 years old now and have lots of issues and illnesses, tried many different ways of trainings but not for me,
Only his method worked well, and in first time in my life now i gained some kilograms and strength I have never been like this before when i was younger.
