According to this old Yale Harald article, a now old defunct vendor called Uneet Corporation were put in the spotlight, I found out that they are the ones selling Beaches by Michael Vie, along with a whole bunch of other stuff from 1997 to 2006, don't know how long they actually stayed in business, as the live web site already showed that the account was suspended.

One thing in this article was very interesting, and I saw this as a trend for all pheromones related reports from early 2000s, is that witch hazel were mentioned as a way to help the diffusion, rather than used to clean app points like we know now. Article mentioned that they were given two bottles, one was "pheromones suspended in witch hazel", and one is "placebo control" (just witch hazel).

Person in the article went back and forth between the pheromone infused witch hazel solution to just witch hazel, and on the days that he was wearing the pheromone solution, he got hits.

Since joining PT 1.0 back in 2013, I had always known witch hazel to be the thing to use to clean the app points, but this re-discovery of this piece of old information completely refreshed my view on witch hazel. I do remember that whenever I put witch hazel on a cotton pad to wipe the mones off, the cologne I had on (1 million intense), which the scent was already dying down a bit after being in a sweaty environment for 8+ hours, seems to be refreshed as I put on witch hazel, so maybe it does work as a diffusion aid as well?

General consensus for witch hazel for cleaning is that it helps the mones fall off your skin, so both the old beliefs of being a "diffusion aid" as well as "app point cleaning" might be true at the same time. Mones needs to fly into the air in order to work.

After I read that article, I immediately brought a bottle of witch hazel from Walmart, they have 14% of rubbing alcohol mixed in but that's ok, most of the mones products are for external use only anyways.

I filled a 10ml spray bottle with the witch hazel I brought, and after applying my mega combo iteration 5, I sprayed as much as I can so the entire application region is covered.

Also it was Memorial Day weekend so I had 4 days worth of testing. This is not really a reporting thread so I will keep the reports quick and short

Thursday (May 23rd, 2024)

Had three young 18+ girls paying a lot of attention to me, this happened only with me being near them for about 5 minutes

Friday (May 24th, 2024)

Had a whiplash head turn, and then the lady was giving me hugs and only pulled away when her friend told her that they had to leave.

Saturday (May 25th, 2024)

Had many almost instant hits, again, only happened with the ladies just being near me for about 5 minutes, and then the "pheromone gravitation pull" effect begins.

Sunday (May 26th, 2024)

Had a few guys greeting me or trying to get my attention, some of them are cool, some of them are just flat out being annoying, but again, it was almost instant, 5 minutes or less.

So it seems like witch hazel does indeed help with diffusion, so if combined with ISO-E Super, or Molecule 01 from this site, could it help the mones to diffuse even better and further?

A pheromone-naive journalist bought a product that's meant to be diluted with cologne the same way NPA is and randomly chose witch hazel to dilute it with instead. No reason to think that he knew what he was doing or that witch hazel should increase diffusion. To quote the article "Witch hazel was used as the mixing solution and placebo instead of the recommended cologne because said columnist does not wear cologne."

So I found this old thread from 2002 on the "Phero Library" forum, this is Love Scent's own forum, look at post #6, from Bruce himself, the owner of Love Scent.

He was stating this as a jab at High Octane+2, which was another product that acted as a pheromone addictive, this was before the invention of NPA and at one point High Octane was all there is. But if you think another way, if witch hazel used as a solvent for pheromones when mixed with essential oils, and would cause a lot of sweating, wouldn't that be beneficial from the perspective of diffusion?

My 10ml spray bottle of witch hazel only were 10% used at this point, it was dumped by myself from a bottle of T.N. Dickinson, and I was spraying 4-6 sprays each time after I finished applying my mones, a very generous amount. I will leave it to you all to test this, it is an experiment that will reveal more results over time. I can attest for myself that this method did in fact made the products work a bit faster than without witch hazel.
