Debate - Should you allow your girl to have male friends?

I keep getting mixed opinions on this. Ones say (typically red pill people) you should forbid your girl into having any male friends, cause basically deep inside a 'male friend' wants this girl and only pretends to be a friend. On the other hand I see people say let her have friends, you shouldn't control your girl like that.

What do you guys think? This goes also for wife and SO.

I will say anyway in this day and age it's far to easy for women to get male contact, even if you forbid her male friends and lets say she happily accepts it. It takes one argument or one day of boredom for her to open some of her DMs and start chatting, finding a funny social dude who's her friend, no harm right? (sarcasm). It's just so impractical. To me it depends on the girl, with some in the past I had a clear arrangement, no guys, with others anyway I was their world, they might have had a best friend who they knew from childhood who had hopes of getting her.

I wouldn't say it's that unique to get a woman addicted to you. Many people have that quality, assuming they chose their partner out of choice and not just agreeing to him/her. I agree with it though that if you're able to maintain this emotional addiction you'll be alright. But if you're a top guy, as you call them, you often don't have that much time for the girl, you're into business and other more important stuff. So even if she's addicted she might have betas on the side for conversation, and she has them at the push of a button.

If you're looking to have a relationship and marry the girl that is.

Otherwise it don't matter.

Basically, you meet a girl. You bang. Then regularly. Then keep doing that till she gives you the talk "what are we" etc. Then you lay down the rules right there.

If she breaks them...don't marry her. Don't get mad either. Demote her to plate status and look for someone else. Rinse and repeat untill you find what you want.

Also keep improving yourself. Make yourself such a catch that your girl won't want to have any male friends in fear of losing you.
