Swoon (not sure if I have the wrong type of bottle)

I recently got my Swoon in the mail and struggling (or so it seems) to get proper drops out of the bottle.
I'm wondering whether it has high viscosity & because i'm in the cold UK, that's causing it difficulties to leave the top of the bottle.

What's happening is, when i try to empty say 3-4 drops onto my hand, i really have to shave it to get partial drops out and they go everywhere.

I'm not able to properly run tests on it until i know i can get it out in the right quantities.

Has anyone any suggestions?

What I've done is create travel-sized bottles. I bought 10ml bottles off Amazon with pipettes in their caps. You can see and dispense the drops much easier.

I also do this as I sometimes forget my duffle in the car and I'd rather only ruin a small batch instead of an entire bottle of product.
