It will start creeping in by little changes in your perception of her. First of which is generally making excuses about her flaws which generally paves the way for denying them entirely or turning a blind eye to them. You will start to make plans with her and if she is also interested in you, you will start falling for her. But while women are generally considered more emotional than men, I tend to disagree. They are very logical creatures by nature. That is why if a guy gets reverse imprinted it sticks around for a very long time while she moves on.

As someone who uses imprinting mones nearly all the time, I can easily say that when I have like 5 different girls on my calendar I do not romanticize my memories with any of them but when it is just one woman I realize that I feel the need to meet with her. I start clearing my schedule and thinking of her more even if she is not compatible with me. If you haven't had much attention from the opposite sex for some time and she then shows you affection, your mind will crave the oxytocin that she gives you and chances of you getting reverse imprinted will increase. Sex is especially dangerous since it is basically the closest you can be to another human being, so be careful if you haven't had sex for a while and you get down to business with her.
